Scrubber (Odor Reduction Unit):
During the composting process, nitrogen will be released as ammonia. Scrubber is a simple device to reduce the bad odor.
The device will be attached on the back of the composter and it moves with the machine.
It is designed to suck the ammonia gas through the tubes and blow the gas into a water pool that runs besides the pit to reduce the bad odor.
All frames are galvanized while covers, dumpers, tubes and exhausting fans are made by stainless steel. This equipment can be installed after the machine is installed (separately).
Livestock manure tend to be high in moisture in most cases. Therefore, it is usually necessary to mix with dried materials to adjust the moisture content for proper composting process. In case the manure is dried, it is necessary to add water. This moisture adjustment is very important when it comes to composting. Pre-Composting System will be a great help to adjust the moisture content properly and to start-up the composting process even before using the composter. An effective composting and high quality organic fertilizer can be expected by combining the pre-composting system with our composters.
Furthermore, if the system is used properly following our know-how, it is also possible to reduce the emission of ammonia.
Composting process occurs due to the activity of aerobic bacteria. Therefore, fresh and warm air are essential. Although it seems easy, selecting the right blowers and pipes is a lot of work. After years of research, we are confident that we have the right blowers and pipes that are ideal for drying & composting. The blowers are controlled by timers and the air volume and operation time can be adjusted according to the season and climate. We especially recommend this system in cold or humid areas & countries.
