At Kohshin, we design and manufacture equipment for manure treatment, but we don’t just build machines, we trust in them so much that we use them ourselves. Together with our partners, we produce our own fertilizer brand, Kofert, made from bio and livestock waste using our very own technology. This is how we prove that what we offer is not just a product ー it is a path to sustainability.

In today’s world, with climate change and the urgent need for sustainable solutions, it is important to return nutrients back to nature in the most responsible way. Our composting technology takes manure and organic by-products and returns them to the soil in a safe, balanced, and effective form.

Using our process, soil fertility improves, the CEC (cation exchange capacity) level is supported, nutrient balance is restored, water retention increases, and humus formation is encouraged. This is not theory ー it is the result of decades of work and real applications.

How It Works

Our equipment uses the aerobic composting approach, where microbial activity transforms waste into nutrients that plants can easily absorb. Lab tests of Kofert show that the final product contains nutrients in plant-available forms ー unlike raw or dried manure, which often contains elements plants cannot use efficiently and may leave harmful residues.

Another key advantage is pathogen and weed seed elimination. The natural temperature increase during the process, generated by microbial activity, ensures that harmful organisms do not survive. This means the final fertilizer is safe, clean, and reliable.
